Riso print: an envelope closed with a wax seal and a keyhole

A short policy, because this is a short site. We collect very little, we sell none of it, and this page says what “very little” means.

This site is a set of articles. It is not an application, it has no accounts, and it asks for nothing you are not deliberately handing over.

What we collect

Nothing, by default. Reading a page here does not require you to identify yourself and does not create a profile of you.

Your email address, if you give it. The signup form exists to send occasional updates when a platform changes its terms. If you enter an address there, it is used for that and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented or shared with the platforms reviewed on this site. Every message includes a way to remove yourself, and replying to ask also works.

What you write to us. Email sent to the desk is kept so the conversation makes sense, and no longer than it needs to be.

Analytics

If aggregate traffic measurement is running on this site, it is configured to record page-level totals rather than individuals: no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no profiles sold to anyone. We would rather know that a page was read a thousand times than know who read it.

Affiliate redirects

Partner links pass through a /go/ address on this domain before sending you to the platform. That hop tells us which link was used; it does not identify you. Once you arrive at the destination, that company’s own privacy policy applies to whatever it does next, and several of them use cookies to attribute a signup. This is normal for affiliate programmes and it is why the affiliate disclosure exists.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own for advertising or tracking. Any cookie you pick up after following a partner link belongs to the destination, not to us.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. There is no form and no waiting period — write to the desk via the contact page and it gets handled.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change will be described here rather than slipped in. The desk last read this page through on 19 September 2026.
